Dr. von Schirach uses relaxation and imagery techniques that have been proven to be effective in treating phobias, panic attacks, PTSD, sexual abuse traumas, anxiety and eating disorders. 

Dr. von Schirach is a Certified Hypnotherapist and uses hypnosis with the consent of the clients for various disorders.

Dr. von Schirach is a Certified EMDR Practioner and uses this technique in treating childhood induced traumas, PTSD (veterans) and phobias.

Dr. von Schirach designs a treatment plan to suit the client's uniqueness.  The interventions used will also be focused on the needs of the client.

She is also a Certified Sex Therapist and qualified to discuss the delicate issues associated with sexual problems.

Duration:  The sessions lasts from 45-50 minutes. 

Some therapy will be short-term focusing on the issues - while others will be longer- term due to their complexity.

Confidentiality:  The information the client provides in therapy is confidential unless there is any reason to believe that the client's life is in danger or that somelse's life is in danger, a child or elderly person is being sexually or physically abused or court order is received to subpoena records for trial.

Please note that Sex Therapy does not involve contact with the therapist.
